Description
The housing is made of aluminum alloy AK7ch with an oxide fluoride electrically conductive coating, painted with powder paint (on request from corrosion-resistant steels 12Kh18N9TL, 12Kh18N10T). It has an external ground clamp, one or two cable entries. On request, it is completed with various types of devices for fastening protective sheaths of cables. Inside the housing there is an electronic board with terminals for connection, access to which is carried out through a removable cover.
Mounting to the tank is made in accordance with the wishes of the customer.
A sensitive element with temperature sensors (up to eight) is installed in the guide, made of corrosion-resistant steel 12X18H10T. Floats (no more than three) move freely along the guide. For chemically aggressive environments, the protective sheath of the guide and floats are made of PVDF, fluoroplastic.
Liquid level measurement is based on the effect of magnetostriction. A current pulse is passed through the sound duct made of magnetostrictive material, which creates a magnetic field around the sound duct. At the location of the float with a magnet, an elastic deformation impulse occurs. The liquid level is determined by the pulse propagation time interval. Multi-point temperature measurement is carried out by integral sensors. Density measurement is carried out using an additional float, the depth of which, relative to the level float, depends on the density of the liquid.
The volume of liquid is automatically determined by the calibration table or formulas (for tanks of simple geometric shapes) stored in the memory of the level gauge.
Measurement of the mass of oil products and liquefied hydrocarbon gases is carried out according to certified methods.
